Mesh IQ sits on top of your data and turns plain-English questions into accurate answers. You never see the database machinery — only questions and answers.

1. 01Connect your data. Point Mesh IQ at a live MySQL database via a secure connection, or upload CSV files. It scans each table and works out which columns are numbers you'd measure, which are categories you'd group by, and which are dates.
2. 02Teach it your business, once. Mesh IQ proposes a plain-language meaning for every table and column and works out how tables join together. You review its suggestions, correct anything it got wrong, and confirm — this becomes the shared dictionary everyone's questions run against. You can also bulk-edit definitions via a downloadable spreadsheet.
3. 03Ask questions. Type a question. Mesh IQ figures out which tables it needs, builds the query, runs it, checks the result for obvious mistakes, and returns the number, a chart, and a one-line explanation of how it got there. Straightforward single-table questions run in Chat mode; deeper questions — trends, comparisons, rankings, averages, multi-step analysis — run in Analytics Studio, which breaks the question into a plan and executes each step.
